DIRECTOR

Meet Ms. Katie! Katie holds a Master’s degree in Education from Union University, and a B.S. in Elementary Education from University of Memphis. Katie is entering her 18th year in education - 15 years as a teacher, and 2 years in the Director position at CUMC Preschool. Katie lives in Collierville with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, exercising, reading, shopping, and more than anything - spending time with her precious family and friends.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Meet Ms. Kelly! Kelly received her B.S. in Public Relations from University of Alabama. Kelly has taught for 22 years at CUMC Preschool, and will be beginning her third year in the Assistant Director position. Kelly is married and has 3 grown children. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

ART TEACHER

Meet Ms. Kellie! Kellie attended University of Memphis and is going on her 4th year as an art teacher at CUMC Preschool. Kellie and her husband have 3 kids and 2 dogs. Kellie enjoys traveling, art, animals, chasing her kids and dogs around, and being with her family and friends.

ART TEACHER

Meet Ms. Cindy! Cindy has been teaching preschool for 16 years, and Sunday school for too many years to count! Cindy and her husband have two daughters and 4 granddaughters. Cindy enjoys walking with her dog Rosie, crafting, gardening, and cooking.

BIBLE TEACHER

Meet Ms. Kathy! Kathy holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Education. She taught for 20 years in the public school system, and has been at CUMC Preschool for 8 years. Kathy and her husband live in Collierville and have 2 married daughters. Kathy enjoys her Bible study, and growing children in their relationship with God.

MUSIC TEACHER

Meet Ms. Trisha! Trisha holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from University of Memphis. She is a veteran and retired Navy vocalist. Trisha has been teaching music to preschoolers for 9 years. She lives in Collierville with her husband and two sweet bonus daughters. Trisha likes lifting weights, reading, nature, Jeeps, dinosaurs, and spending time with her family and the Lord!

MUSIC/BIBLE TEACHER

Meet Ms. Lauren! Lauren has been working in the childcare/ school system for 19 years, with the past 3 years spent at CUMC. Lauren lives in Collierville with her family. In her spare time she enjoys crafting, traveling, and being with family and friends.

Meet Ms. Jessie! Jessie attended Mississippi State, and will be beginning her second year teaching at CUMC Preschool. She lives in Collierville with her husband and 2 children. She enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.

 Meet Ms. Meghan! Meghan has her B.S. in Psychology, and has been teaching preschool for 4 years. Meghan is married and has 3 children. She enjoys walking/running, drinking coffee, doing crafty things, and TV.

TEACHER - 1YO/2YO

Meet Ms. Erica! After spending time at home raising her children, we have been so incredibly blessed to have Erica join our CUMC Preschool staff. Erica loves helping guide her students. Watching them hit milestones and grow is one of her greatest joys. Erica has 2 wonderful children, a snail, and a fish, and lives in Collierville. Erica enjoys traveling and finding new adventures with her kids to watch them flourish.

Meet Ms. Susan! Susan has spent many years teaching preschoolers (17 at CUMC), and loves watching them learn and grow. Susan and her husband have 2 grown children. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Meet Ms. Kristin! Kristin attended University of TN at Chattanooga, and will be starting her second year teaching at CUMC Preschool. She is married with two kids, and enjoys traveling, hiking, playing board/card games, and listening to music.

Meet Ms. Paige! Paige has her Bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Memphis, and has taught preschool for 20+ years (14 of them at CUMC). She and her husband have two college aged sons that attended CUMC Preschool. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach/lake, and caring for her preschool friends.

Meet Ms. Kristian! Kristian has her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State. She just completed her first year teaching at the preschool. Kristian lives in Collierville with her husband and two daughters. Kristian enjoys walking at the park and spending any spare moment she can get with her family.

Meet Ms. Carrie! Carrie attended University of Memphis pursuing a degree in Education, and has 10+ years teaching experience. Carrie lives in Rossville with her husband and 2 daughters. In her free time Carrie enjoys shopping and traveling.goes here

Meet Ms. Elizabeth! Elizabeth attended University of Memphis, studying Early Childhood Education. This will be her 18th year at CUMC Preschool. She and her husband live in Collierville, and she has 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Her hobbies include all types of sewing and crafting.

Meet Ms. Nicole! Nicole attended Utah State University and majored in Family Human Development. She and her husband live in Collierville, and have 4 amazing children. In her spare time she enjoys working in her yard, baking, volunteering with her church and schools, binging Netflix, and traveling.

Meet Ms. Patti! Patti attended Mississippi State and has her Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Patti was a stay at home mom for 24 years until her love of children brought her to CUMC Preschool. Patti will be starting her 15th year teaching preschool and her heart is with the young 2’s. Patti lives with her husband in Collierville, and has 3 grown children, and 5 grandchildren. Patti enjoys working out and hanging out on the boat at her lake house.

Meet Ms. Laurie! Laurie graduated from University of Tennessee (Knoxville), and has been teaching for 6 years. She lives in Collierville with her husband, 3 children, and goldendoodle Brody. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and walking.

Meet Ms. Emily! Emily received her B.S. in Education from University of Memphis and is excited to join the preschool family this year! She lives in Collierville with her husband and 4 boys. In her free time she enjoys cooking, decorating, walking, and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Ms. Noelle! Noelle grew up in the Memphis area, and is a University of Memphis Alum. This is her second year teaching preschool and she is excited for the journey this new year will bring. She and her husband have two precious children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, and playing board games with her family.

Meet Ms. Jill! Along with a career as a registered dietician, Jill has been teaching preschool for 15 years. Jill is married with 2 grown daughters and 4 awesome grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, cooking, walking/swimming, shopping, volunteering, and making memories with her grandchildren.

Meet Ms. Lauren! Lauren has her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Mississippi State, and has been teaching for 8 years. Lauren and her husband live in Collierville with their daughter and dog Sippi. Lauren enjoys entertaining her daughter, cooking, walking, and trying to learn hand embroidery.

Meet Ms. Jill! After formerly owning/operating a day spa in New Jersey, Jill has been a teacher for the past 6 years. Jill and her husband live in Collierville with their 2 sons and furry son, Winston North. Jill enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and crafting.

Meet Ms. Cristina! Cristina is a native Texan with 3 years of experience in early childhood education. She attended school in San Antonio, where she met her husband. They now live in Collierville with their 3 sons. Cristina enjoys volunteering, traveling with her family, learning, and making lasting memories.

Meet Ms. Supriya! Supriya joined the CUMC Preschool team a year ago, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Supriya lives in Collierville with her husband and 2 children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, cooking, crafting, and building things with her hands.

Meet Ms. Brittany! Brittany received her degree in Special Education from University of Memphis. Brittany has over 22 years of experience working with children, with 13 of those years being teaching swimming lessons. In her spare time, Brittany can be found spending time with her fun loving husband and 3 children, on a walk with her Aussie doodle (Dobby), or shuttling her kids around.

Meet Ms. Courtney! Courtney graduated from University of Memphis and has taught preschool for 5 years. She grew up and lives in Germantown with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with family, running, traveling, and planning Disney trips.

Meet Ms. Cameron! Cameron attended University of TN at Martin. She has worked at Collierville Elementary as a Paraprofessional for 5 years, as well as 3 years at CUMC Preschool. Cameron was born and raised in Collierville. She is married and has 3 daughters, 2 sons, and 2 bonus sons. She enjoys time with family and friends, doing anything creative, hanging out in her backyard, and trips to the beach!

TEACHER - 3YO/2YO

Meet Ms. Michelle! Michelle graduated from University of Memphis with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She has spent the past 14 years working in Nashville as a retail home buyer. She joined CUMC Preschool last year and has been a wonderful addition to our preschool family. She lives in Collierville with her husband and son. Michelle enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Meet Ms. Laurie! Laurie has her Master’s degree in Education from University of Memphis, and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Mississippi. Laurie has taught for 11 years, and this will be her 5th year at CUMC Preschool. Laurie lives in Collierville with her husband, 3 children, and goldendoodle, Quincy. She likes to sing, dance, volunteer, be active, and travel to the beach/mountains!

TEACHER 

Meet Ms. Jean! Jean has her B.S. in Microbiology from Mississippi State, and this will be her 9th year teaching preschool at CUMC Preschool. Jean has lived in Collierville for 25+ years with her husband, two children, and rat terrier Astro. Both of her children are alumni of this great preschool! Jean enjoys astronomy, science, gardening, Elvis, classic rock, and cool cars.

Meet Ms. Sheryl! Sheryl has her Master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Physical Education, and has taught for 25 years. Sheryl is originally from Iowa, and has three adult children, all of whom attended CUMC Preschool! Sheryl enjoys traveling, reading, walking, and swimming.

Meet Ms. Beth! Beth has both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Education, and has taught for 26 years (6 of them being at CUMC Preschool). Beth and her husband live in Collierville and have 2 grown sons. Beth enjoys baking, traveling, and doing diamond art in her spare time.

Meet Ms. Sarah! After working over 15 years in retail and clinical pharmacy, Sarah has been a teacher at CUMC Preschool for 9 years. Sarah has a natural passion for working with children. Outside of work, Sarah loves exploring new places and making memories with her husband and two children.

Meet Ms. Crystal! Crystal has her Master’s degree in School Counseling from University of Memphis, and this will be her 5th year at the preschool. She and her husband have four children. She enjoys cheering on her kids at their sporting events!

Meet Ms. Pat! Pat started teaching at CUMC Preschool in 1991, and has taught here for 34 years! Pat has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys being with her grandkids, reading, and walking.

Meet Ms. Nisha! Nisha has been teaching for 9 years, and has her Master’s degree in Education. Nisha has a passion for helping students grow both academically and personally. She and her husband have 3 children. Outside of teaching she enjoys reading, writing, and watching documentaries.
